From the creators of last years’ indie hit Stick It to The Man! comes Zombie Vikings, a four-player co-op stab-you-in-the-gut-a-thon laced with a dead funny story.
Check out this Dev Diary from one of Sweden’s most creative developers – Zoink Games. Find out how they put character design and humor into their games and why they want you and your friends to merge into a giant Mega Zombie in this crazy brawler where being a headless corpse is actually a good thing! Follow the creation process up close in this first episode in a series of dev diaries that we’ll post in the coming months leading up to the release of Zombie Vikings in August.
Loki is at it again, and in an act of brutal mischief steals Odin’s remaining good eye. Thor and the other gods are too busy partying. Blind as a bat Odin is left with desperate measures: he raises four of the most fearsome Zombie Vikings – Gunborg, Seagurd, Hedgy and Caw-kaa – out of the Norse soil. This putrid posse is sent on an epic quest through the most wondrous of worlds to retrieve The Eye, and to make peace with their rotten pasts.
Hack through the boiling gingerbread swamps of Molgaga, cruise the intestines of the Midgard Serpent, fight giant troll poultry and find out how Söccer was really invented. Fans of the studio’s extraordinary style will not be disappointed.
