FutureGrind is a game all about skill, tricks, and speed. It’s been a while since we’ve heard much about this eye catching racer, but FutureGrind is still on track and hits PS4 and Nintendo Switch January 22nd. There is also a new release date trailer you can view here too.
Milkbag Games is Matt Rix and Owen Goss, two Canadian game designers and developers. The game is played on a track made of rails that run through a 3D environment: some rails are blue, some are red, and some are white. As the player, you control a futuristic, motorcycle-sized vehicle called a “grinder”. Your grinder has two wheels: one blue, and one red. You have to get from the start of the track to the end in one piece, while scoring the most points possible. Your blue wheel can touch blue rails, your red wheel can touch red rails, but touch the wrong rail and you’ll cause a short circuit.
FutureGrind features 6 unique 3D environments and a Career mode with heaps tracks to compete in. There is also a deep combo system where you can chain tricks together. The game comes with different grinders that control in unique ways and an original pumping soundtrack by bignic.
Fans of OlliOlli may want to take note and keep this unique title on their radar. We think FutureGrind is looking pretty epic and we can’t wait for this stunt-platformer to finally drop.
