Eventide: Slavic Fable will be released today on PlayStation 4. The new game created by Artifex Mundi and The House of Fables takes players on a journey to a land of Slavic myths and folk tales. This is the sixth game from the Katowice-based studio that will be released on Sony’s platform.
Eventide: Slavic Fable is inspired by tales passed on from generation to generation in Central/Eastern Europe. The story takes place in an enchanted park where people live together with Slavic deities and magical creatures. A famous botanist arrives at an open-air museum after receiving an invitation from her grandmother who works as the curator there. She doesn’t know that she will have to save the mythical fern flower and save the old lady from the clutches of the mysterious Boruta.
The heroine must ally herself with the Slavic creatures that live in the open-air museum to defeat the villain, save the curator, and prevent calamity. Is her cunning and the help of the Slavic creatures enough to defeat the forces of evil?
The game contains 38 hand-painted locations inspired by Slavic folklore, 43 puzzles and original scenes with hidden objects, 25 trophies with a Platinum, and an additional adventure that takes players on a hunt for the fern flower on Midsummer’s Eve.
Eventide: Slavic Fable will debut today and the game will cost 9.99 USD / 9.99 EUR / 7.99 GBP.
