Outright Games and Climax Studios have bought a colourful little endearing title to consoles this month. If you’ve ever played Jet Set Radio or Tony Hawks, then you’ll be wanting to be let loose on this one. Crayola Scoot is all about spreading the paint, and to unleash this stuff tricks and flips need to be performed. The more tricks, the more colour. The game is set amidst different skateparks that all have their own special features and it’s here you can happily freestyle away in. The aim of Crayola Scoot is to become the Champion and to do this you’ll need to beat the Scoot Legends in a series of events. From collecting the most crayons or avoiding being splattered, to unlocking characters by beating combo scores, Crayola Scoot is a varied extreme sport. Once you’ve created your own Crayola Scoot character it’s time to start splashing the colour and activate traps, boosts and shortcuts. You can also splat your buddies in 4-player split-screen battles too. There certainly is a lot to like here. With colourful ink oozing everywhere, Crayola Scoot is a little unexpected gem.
Check out the trailer and screens below, but don’t be fooled by its childish looks, there’s a lot to master and keep the older gamers interested here too.
Crayola Scoot is out now on PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox One. Head over to Outright Games for more information.
